What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Virginia Pest Solutions provides general pest control services described in the estimate or service agreement. The work may include inspection of accessible areas, treatment for identified general household pests, and practical recommendations related to the agreed service.

The agreement identifies the property, target pests, treatment areas, and any limits. Termite work, bed bug treatment, wildlife removal, major sanitation or repair work, and other services outside the agreed scope require a separate written agreement.

We apply registered pesticide products according to their labels and use directions, as required by FIFRA and Virginia pesticide product registration law, including Virginia Code § 3.2-3902. Applicators must meet applicable certification requirements under Virginia Code § 3.2-3930 and regulations in 2VAC20-50.

Pesticide waste is handled under applicable RCRA requirements. Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services oversees pesticide regulation; relevant safety guidance may also come from the EPA, OSHA, Virginia Department of Health, or Arlington County Government. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, applies where relevant.

Setting, Changing, or Canceling a Visit

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method the company makes available. A visit is confirmed when Virginia Pest Solutions and the customer agree on a date and service window.

Please provide access to the agreed treatment areas and follow any preparation instructions given for the service. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, contact us as soon as possible and, when practical, at least one business day before the scheduled visit.

Any cancellation charge must be disclosed in the service agreement or estimate; these terms do not create an unstated fee.

Tell us promptly about access problems, changed pest concerns, or property conditions that may affect the visit. We will explain whether the change fits the existing scope or needs a revised estimate or separate agreement.

We will not perform additional paid work without your approval. If weather, safety, product-label directions, or other conditions prevent service, we may arrange a new appointment and explain the reason.

Estimates, Approved Work, and Payment

Before work begins, Virginia Pest Solutions will provide an estimate or service agreement describing the proposed work and its charge. An estimate is based on the information available at the time and may need revision if an inspection reveals different conditions, access limits, or a request for additional work.

We will explain any proposed change and obtain your approval before doing work outside the agreed scope. No specific price is promised by these terms; the amount due is the amount stated in the estimate or agreement you accept.

Payment timing and accepted payment methods will be stated in that document or confirmed when the appointment is booked. Unless the written agreement says otherwise, payment is due upon completion of the service.

Please raise billing questions promptly and provide the relevant estimate, invoice, or service date so we can review them. If a payment is disputed, contact us to discuss the charge; a dispute does not authorize additional work or change the agreed service. Any taxes or other charges will be identified where applicable.

What to Expect About Service Guarantees

Virginia Pest Solutions will perform the work described in your accepted estimate or service agreement with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable pesticide labels and regulations. These terms do not promise a particular pest-free result, a set period of control, or a warranty duration.

Any warranty, follow-up visit, or retreatment commitment applies only if it is expressly stated in a written agreement for your service. That document will explain what is covered, how long coverage lasts, and how to request service under it.

Results can depend on conditions beyond the treatment itself, including entry points, moisture, sanitation, building defects, and activity on neighboring properties. A written warranty may also set reasonable conditions, such as following preparation instructions or allowing access to the covered areas.

If those conditions are not met, coverage may not apply as described in that agreement. Contact us if you believe the agreed work was not performed as written; we will review the service record and applicable written terms.

Service Expert at Virginia Pest Solutions

I started in pest control working in Arlington homes, where older foundations, row-house walls, and shared utility lines often give ants and rodents easy routes indoors. I built this company to provide clear inspections and treatment plans suited to Virginia’s seasonal shifts, then expanded our service reach across the state.

Responsibility for Service and Property Conditions

To the extent permitted by law, Virginia Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue. This limit does not apply where applicable law does not allow it, including liability that cannot legally be waived.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, structural defects, pest activity outside the treated areas, or effects caused by conditions beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here removes any duty imposed by law or an express written commitment.

Our work is subject to applicable pesticide requirements. Virginia Code § 3.2-3930 and 2VAC20-50 address applicator certification and regulation; Virginia Code § 3.2-3902 concerns pesticide product registration.

We follow pesticide labeling and use directions under FIFRA and handle regulated pesticide waste as required by RCRA. These requirements do not expand the agreed service scope or create a guarantee of results.

OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, applies to workplace chemical communication where applicable.

Questions About These Service Terms

If you have questions about these terms, an estimate, or a completed service, contact Virginia Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@virginiapestsolutions.top. You may also write to 1100 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA.

Include your name, service address, and appointment or invoice details so we can identify the relevant agreement. These terms apply together with any service-specific estimate or written agreement; if a specific written term conflicts with this general page, the specific term controls for that service to the extent permitted by law.

We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on the website, and we will provide notice directly when required by law or when a change affects an active service agreement.

Changes generally apply to future bookings and do not alter completed work or replace a signed agreement without the required consent. Please review the current version before scheduling new work. You can ask us for clarification before accepting an estimate.
